Trades contractors · Surrey, BC
AI automation for Surrey trades contractors.
Surrey keeps building. New subdivisions, townhouse projects, and mid-rise sites mean a lot of trades contractors here work for builders and general contractors rather than homeowners. That work pays on a schedule set by someone else, across many sites at once. We build systems that keep the office on top of it, so you get paid for every phase you finish.
Every unit is at a different stage.
A subtrade on new construction in Surrey can have crews on several builder sites at once, each with dozens of units moving through their phases. The site super calls when a unit is ready. The office has to know which units are done, which are waiting on another trade, and which have been invoiced. When that lives in texts and a whiteboard, finished work goes unbilled and crews get sent to units that are not ready.
Progress draws and holdbacks do not chase themselves.
Builders pay on progress claims against a contract value, minus a holdback that is released later. Each claim needs the right percentage complete, the approved change orders, and the right paperwork attached. Miss a cut-off date and the money waits another month. Holdback releases slip for longer still, because nobody has a date in the calendar for them. In a busy year that is a lot of earned money sitting in someone else's account.
One record per unit, from first call to final claim.
We build a system where every site and unit has one record. Calls and texts from site supers become scheduled work with the unit and phase attached. Completion photos and notes from the crew update the record. Change orders get logged when they are agreed and carried into the next progress claim. Draws are drafted on time from what is actually done, and holdback release dates are tracked until the money lands.
Common questions.
We work for several builders, each with their own paperwork. Can one system handle that?
Yes. We document each builder's requirements once: their claim format, their cut-off dates, and what has to be attached. The system then prepares each claim the way that builder wants it, for your review before it goes out.
Our crews will not fill in forms. How does the office get the information?
They do not need to. A photo and a short text from site is usually enough. The system reads what they already send and files it against the right unit, so nobody on site changes how they work. The office gets a clear picture of every unit without making a single phone call to find out.
We also do residential service work in Surrey. Does this cover both?
It can. Many Surrey contractors run new construction and service side by side, and the two need different intake and billing. We map both, then start with whichever one is losing more money. For most contractors on new construction that is billing, because finished work that never makes it onto a claim is money already earned and never collected.
What if it does not work?
The guarantee is simple: we add one full-time role of capacity within 90 days, or we keep working until we do.
